Akash Mahajan

I am a researcher and graduate student in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, with a focus on Computer Vision and Deep Learning. My work centers on developing advanced models for 2D/3D image understanding, with applications in Biomedical Imaging, Satellite Image Analysis, and Real-Time Vision Systems.

With a strong foundation in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Semantic Segmentation, Object Detection, and Vision Transformers, I aim to build impactful, research-driven solutions through rigorous experimentation and scalable implementation. I have experience developing Transformer-based models, Segmentation Pipelines, and end-to-end ML Systems that improve efficiency and enable data-driven insights across domains.
